Central Coast Mariners v Western Sydney Wanderers

Central Coast Mariners host Western Sydney Wanderers in round 16 of the 2015/16 A-League season. The purchase of an adult general admission ticket also includes a complimentary junior ticket.

Families can take advantage of the Kids Go Free promotion by paying just $50.00 for a family ticket (includes two adult and two junior general admission entries).

The Mariners may hand a debut to former Liverpool forward Luis Garcia. The Spaniard has signed until the end of the season, with an impressive display fresh in the memories of Australian football fans in the recent Liverpool Legends exhibition match in Sydney.

Central Coast Mariners v Perth Glory

The 2015/16 A-League season represents a fresh start for Central Coast Mariners after a disappointing campaign last year saw them miss the finals series. Coach Tony Walmsley has used pre-season to build up the fitness levels of his squad, while also promising to introduce a more attacking brand of football.

The Mariners also have a new skipper in Nick Montgomery and their recruitment has largely been based around domestic talent – forward Roy O’Donovan is their only notable import signing. They will also hope that Fabio Ferreira can continue the excellent form he showed following his mid-season switch from Adelaide in January.

Central Coast Mariners v Wellington Phoenix

Central Coast Mariners open their FFA Cup campaign with an all A-League tie againsnt Wellington Phoenix in Gosford. The Mariners were knocked out of the cup last year in the semi-finals by eventual winners Adelaide United, and will hope for another good run in 2015.

Tickets prices have been significantly discounted, with adult tickets at $15.00, juniors at $5.00 and a family of four for only $35.00.

The Mariners’ most capped player is retiring at the end of the season and fans will want to send him off in style, along with forward Matt Simon who is also making his final home appearance.

Central Coast Mariners will farewell long serving midfielder John Hutchinson on Saturday in their final home match of the A-League season against Western Sydney Wanderers. The Mariners’ most capped player is retiring at the end of the season and fans will want to send him off in style, along with forward Matt Simon who is also making his final home appearance.

The 2013 Grand Final seems like a long time ago for the Mariners and Wanderers after difficult campaigns this season. Neither side can make the finals, but the rivalry developed between the two as a result of that decider two years ago ensures that Saturday’s game will be keenly fought.

The Mariners come into the game off the back of a 6-1 thrashing in Brisbane. Performances under new coach Tony Walmsley had been generally improved, so Mariners fans will hope to see a response from their team to end the season on a high.

The Wanderers have at least seemingly found an answer to their goal scoring issues in Kerem Bulut, who is already their joint top scorer in all competitions despite only arriving in January. Following Newcastle Jets’ shock win in Melbourne on Friday the Wanderers have again slipped to the foot of the A-League ladder, so will look to their in form hitman to fire them to a much needed win.

Sydney FC v Central Coast Mariners

Just a month after Sydney FC inflicted a 5-1 thrashing on the Mariners in Gosford the two sides meet again at Allianz Stadium. The Mariners are looking to salvage some pride from their season after being eliminated from the Asian Champions League in midweek.

Central Coast Mariners v Adelaide United

Central Coast Mariners will be looking for a response to the heavy loss to Sydney FC in the last round. Their opponent’s Adelaide United banged in seven goals themselves a fortnight ago against the Jets.
