Squad depth will be tested for both Wests Tigers and South Sydney Rabbitohs when the two sides meet at ANZ Stadium on Friday night. A recent slump in form has seen the Tigers slip further away from the top eight, so a win in this round 14 clash could be the shot in the arm they need to mount a late season charge.
With the second game of the State Of Origin series taking place next Wednesday the Tigers will be without skipper Robbie Farah and key forward Aaron Woods, while Souths are missing star fullback Greg Inglis. The Tigers are able to call upon Keith Galloway, Tim Simona and David Nofoaluma as they look to notch an upset win.
The Rabbitohs have turned around a slump of their own and now have three consecutive wins to their name. As well as Inglis the defending NRL champions are still without Adam Reynolds, and hooker Isaac Luke also joined the injury list this week. However, impressive recent displays from the likes of Luke Keary and Dylan Walker have given Souths a much needed boost and kept them in touch with the leading teams.
Ticketed members from South Sydney with access to games at ANZ Stadium receive reciprocal entry rights to this game. All pre-purchased tickets also include free return rail travel to Olympic Park.
