All eyes will be on Kieran Foran as Manly Sea Eagles head over to ANZ Stadium to face South Sydney Rabbitohs. Foran produced his best display of the season last weekend, but since then has seen his move to Parramatta for 2016 fall apart in a very public way. Foran is once again one of the most sought after players on the market, and there will be plenty keeping on eye on his performance against the defending Premiers.
The saga has taken some of the spotlight off Daly Cherry-Evans following his own recent contract issues. The halfback will look to put in an improved performance as he attempts to secure his spot in the Queensland side for the State of Origin decider.
The Sea Eagles head to ANZ Stadium carrying the burden of the worst for-and-against record in the NRL. However, a win on Friday night could see them move away from the foot of the ladder.
The Rabbitohs are coming off a bye round following their heavy defeat last time out to Wests Tigers – who in turn were beaten by Manly last weekend. Greg Inglis and Tim Grant are back in the Rabbitohs’ squad, while Adam Reynolds will benefit from having had an extra fortnight to improve his fitness having looked rusty in his return from injury against the Tigers.
This match will also see Burgess brothers on opposing sides for the first time in the NRL. Twins George and Thomas will be hoping that Luke is unable to inspire Manly to an upset win.
Friday 26th June, ANZ Stadium Homebush 19:35
